Infectious Diseases – Neptune
Welcome to our practice where our physicians specialize in infectious diseases.
Infectious or communicable diseases are those that can be transmitted from one person to another. While your primary care physician can easily manage many infections, a consultation with an infectious disease specialist may be appropriate when the diagnosis is in doubt, when the infection is severe, or when issues of antibiotic intolerance or resistance complicate therapeutic decisions.
Founded over 30 years ago, we are a respected and preferred practice in the Monmouth and Ocean County area. Our care team sees complicated infectious diseases at Hackensack Meridian Health Jersey Shore University Medical Center consulting on adult medical, surgical, oncology, orthopedic and obstetrics/gynecology patients. Additionally, we play an integral role in the education of medical students at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine at Seton Hall University and residents in our internal medicine residency at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.
Our infectious disease physicians and nurses provide comprehensive, compassionate care.
