Hackensack Meridian Health offers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services throughout New Jersey. We provide every level of care from the most severe mental health and substance use disorders, to same-day telehealth visits for anxiety and depression.
Providing Care in a Safe Environment
Most outpatient care is provided in physician offices or facilities located outside of our hospitals.
These offices are taking extensive safety precautions including scheduling office visits that allow patient flow where 6 feet physical distancing can be met, implementing cleaning protocols based on CDC guidelines, and requiring patients, visitors, team members, and physicians to wear masks.
Should you need to visit one of our hospitals or inpatient facilities, we have enhanced processes in place including:
- Rigorously cleaning and sanitizing including the use of ultra violet (UV) light cleaning and fogging. We have engaged a nationally recognized, third-party organization to oversee these significant efforts, including the testing of air, water and surfaces to make sure they’re safe for our patients and team members.
- Testing all patients staying at our hospitals.
- Providing masks to our patients, visitors, team members, and physicians and requiring them to wear the masks when at our Hackensack Meridian facilities.
- Restricting visitation at all of our hospitals consistent with directives from the state of New Jersey.
