Center for Wound Healing

The Center for Wound Healing provides patients with expert care in treating non-healing and complex wounds with the latest advancements and technologies. We develop personalized treatment plans designed by our highly-specialized, multidisciplinary team of wound care experts, including board certified general, plastic, podiatric and vascular surgeons, endocrinologists, infectious disease physicians, hyperbaric technicians, wound care certified registered nurses, laboratory specialists, pain management specialists, among other clinical care specialists, to improve the outcomes of adult and pediatric patients with unresolved and complicated wounds.

At The Center for Wound Healing, our goal is to heal chronic and acute wounds, traumatic injuries, preserve limbs, and prevent wound recurrence. We provide the most contemporary modalities, such as Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, in wound care in a safe environment and in a cost-effective manner.

Environment of Healing

The Center for Wound Healing provides you and your guests with small touches that can make a big difference. Most of our centers have individual flat screen televisions in the hyperbaric chambers. Patients can bring in their own movie on DVD, music on a CD, or watch television while receiving treatment in the hyperbaric chamber, which proves to lower a patient’s anxiety and level of pain. As a patient or guest, you have access to Concierge Care, a complimentary service designed to address non-clinical needs, including information requests, home care services, and more. Additionally, most of our Wound Care centers offer valet parking for locations within the hospital.

Most of our centers are Healogics® Centers of Distinction, which is an annual award given to a wound center that has achieved a certain level of performance in the 4 key performance indicators of Healing Rate, Median Days to Heal, Patient Outlier Rate and Patient Satisfaction.
